Note:
1. Some vehicles will already be using the CDC port for other inputs. In this case a Y Harness must be used, and we also have these available.
2. Not all vehicles will support this feature, in which instance factory buttons on radio must be used.
3. USB only supports audio via flash drives. Other devices can use this USB port for charging.
4. Supports factory amplified system
5. For some Mazda 6 produced between 2003 and 2005. The factory headunit requires a small modification to the circuit board in order to enable the use of the auxiliary/satellite radio port. For info on this modification, please see: https://gromaudio.com/docs/maz_L716_E.htm
6. For some of these vehicles which are Jap imported, you would need to use a Toyota Integration Kit, as the factory radios are Toyota Manufactured.
7. The factory headunit's firmware revision must be 9.55 or greater. The unit will not work on earlier firmware revisions or with 9.81 or 10.01. To find out which revision your Mazda RX-8 has, make sure the radio (FM) is turned on, then press and hold "TEXT." Then, also press and hold "1" at the same time for a few more seconds. The LCD should then report your firmware version.
